Protection you won’t see, confidence you will feel.
Paint Protection FIlm
Recognized by STEK USA for exceptional installation standards, craftmanship, and client experience.
Protection Designed Around How You Drive
Paint protection film is a clear, highly durable layer applied to the areas of your vehicle that experience the most impact, wear, and contact. From rock chips and road debris to high-touch interior surfaces, it absorbs damage before your paint or trim ever sees it.
When installed properly, it preserves your factory finish and can even enhance its depth and clarity. Coverage isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s tailored to how you use your car, where you drive it, and what matters most to you.
Impact Defense
Shields high-impact areas from rock chips, road debris, surface abrasion, and environmental contamination. Designed to take the damage so your vehicle doesn’t have to.
Tailored Protection
Protect and enhance your vehicle’s surfaces, from paint and headlights to gloss trim and interior panels. Choose from clear, satin, matte, tinted, or color-enhancing films to preserve your finish or subtly redefine it.
Freedom to Enjoy
Spend less time worrying about damage and more time enjoying your car. Whether it’s daily driving, weekend cruises, or summer-only miles, protection give you the confidence to use your car the way it meant to be used.

What to Expect
From the first conversation to final delivery, every step is intentional and centered around your needs.
-
We begin by understanding how you use your car, where you drive it, how long you plan to keep it, and what matters most to you.
This conversation often happens in person at the shop or over the phone, where we can walk through real examples and explore options you may not have considered. Most clients come in thinking only about clear film. Together, we may discover that tinted PPF, colored accents, or a more tailored protection strategy better fits your vision.
-
Proper preparation is the foundation of a quality result.
Before any film is installed, the vehicle is carefully washed, decontaminated, clayed, and surface-prepped to ensure optimal adhesion. In our experience, preparation accounts for the majority of a long-lasting, clean installation.
While installation gets the attention, preparation is where excellence is built.
-
Film is applied using a hybrid installation method, with wrapped edges wherever possible for a cleaner, more seamless finish.
We take the time to align edges, reduce visible seams, and ensure the protection integrates naturally into the vehicle, and enhances design.
-
Once installation is complete, we walk you through the work in detail and provide simple washing guidance.
We also invite you back for a two-week inspection and first wash together. This allows the film to settle properly and gives us the opportunity to show you how easy it is to care for your vehicle without stress.
Protection should give you freedom, not anxiety.
We chose paint protection film because of what it unlocks.
When we realized how this product allows us to enjoy a lifestyle we love so much, we knew it was a service worth dedicating ourselves to.
We’ve invested in advanced training at some of the best shops around the world, traveled to industry events like SEMA in order to build relationships with brands that are pushing the industry forward. We care about working with people who share that mindset. When brands and shops raise the standard together, everyone benefits — especially the client and our community.
Inside our shop, there are people who genuinely love the craft of laying film. The patience. The precision. The quiet focus. That care shows up in the small details most people never see.
The combination of continual learning, aligned partnerships, and a team that cares about excellence in the little details creates a standard that sets us apart. This isn’t just a service we offer. It’s a lifestyle we’ve chosen and a life we’re building around the craft.
The trust you place in us matters. From the beginning, we set out to build a business where people who care about their cars as much as we do can feel confident leaving us their prized possession.
That’s the type of experience you can expect from Kodawari Collective.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
A hybrid installation means we extend and wrap edges wherever possible to minimize visible lines, while respecting the physical limits of the film.
For us, a quality install isn’t just about making the film invisible. It’s about balancing aesthetics with long-term durability. Film that is overstretched or pushed beyond its limits may look perfect on day one but can fail over time, especially through seasonal temperature changes.
Our approach focuses on clean, seamless integration while ensuring the film performs reliably in real-world conditions.
-
Most premium films are highly resistant to yellowing and are designed to last for many years when properly maintained.
STEK DYNOshield, the primary film we work with, carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. When paired with STEK’s ceramic coating, that warranty extends to 12 years.
We chose STEK for its optical clarity and stability. Properly installed film enhances depth and gloss without altering your paint color. Much like additional clear coat layers on high-end show cars, the film adds visual depth — with the added benefit of durability.
-
Yes.
We stand behind our workmanship. If there are issues such as lifting or installation-related defects, we address them within reason.
We believe long-term relationships and word-of-mouth matter more than short-term transactions. Our goal is to deliver work that we are proud to stand behind.
-
When installed and removed properly, PPF has a very small chance of damaging factory OEM paint.
We use adhesion promoter strategically and minimally, only where required. We are careful not to overstretch film beyond its limits.
There are exceptions to be aware of:
Aftermarket or recently repainted panels that have not fully cured may be at risk of lifting.
Some modern factory paint systems are thinner than in the past, and edge wrapping can occasionally expose weaknesses in poorly bonded paint.
These situations are rare but important to understand. We discuss any concerns during consultation.
-
Not for everyone.
Coverage should reflect how you drive, where you drive, and how long you plan to keep the vehicle. That’s why we recommend protection based on your ownership goals rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
-
Maintenance is straightforward.
PPF is designed to make ownership easier, not more stressful. You can safely wash the vehicle using proper techniques, including pressure washers within reasonable distance.
We provide clear care guidance at delivery and invite clients back for a follow-up wash so we can walk through maintenance together. The goal is simple: enjoy your car and worry less about it.
-
PPF is sacrificial.
High-impact areas like front bumpers will naturally show wear over time, especially with frequent highway driving. When a panel becomes heavily worn or damaged, it can be removed and replaced without repainting the vehicle.
That replaceability is one of the primary advantages of film.
-
Yes.
Film can be applied to headlights, gloss trim, and certain interior panels. It adheres best to smooth, non-textured surfaces. Textured plastics and heavily grained materials are generally not suitable for film application.
-
For most front-end packages, we require approximately three days to allow for proper preparation and installation.
Full-body installations typically require up to two weeks, depending on vehicle complexity. Bespoke or highly customized work may require additional time, which we communicate clearly during consultation.
-
Ceramic coating is optional.
It can enhance hydrophobic properties and make cleaning easier. When applied over STEK film using STEK’s approved coating system, it also extends the manufacturer warranty from 10 to 12 years.
It is particularly beneficial on satin and matte films but ultimately comes down to preference and ownership goals.
“We treat your car with the same care we would expect for our own.”
